Title

Investigating the relationship between budget and economic growth of the provinces and extracting a suitable model for distributing credits among the provinces

Abstract

Achieving economic growth and development as one of the most basic goals of macro policies is considered by policy makers and economic planners. In this dissertation, the effect of budget shocks on the economic growth of the provinces of the country has been evaluated by considering the budget credit and government expenditures in each province. For this purpose, information from the period 1380-1396 has been used. The method used in this study was the Panel VAR approach. In this study, the effects of impulses of each province were divided based on the specific impulse of each province and the general impulse of the provinces. The results showed that the budget appropriations allocated to each province had a positive effect on the economic growth of that province. But the results showed that with the increase in budget credits of the country's major provinces, economic growth in neighboring provinces has declined due to increased migration.
